[Randstad Greater China], 19th FEBRUARY 2020 - Randstad, a global recruitment and talent solutions firm, announced several internal executive promotions at the start of the year to kick-off the new decade.

Randstad Hong Kong and Randstad China came together officially on January 1, 2020 to form the Greater China region. This move aims to significantly increase the strategic collaborations between our teams, which will allow Randstad to deliver value-add recruitment and talent solutions services into the future.

Nikki Gao, Managing Director for Randstad China takes on the newly-created role of Managing Director, Greater China region. Natellie Sun, Managing Director for Randstad Hong Kong, has also been promoted to Head of Search and Selection, Greater China region. Natellie’s current responsibilities for Randstad Hong Kong remain unchanged, and reports to Nikki in her new role.

Nikki Gao shared, “As a result of major digital disruption and globalisation, the China economy has grown tremendously over the past decade. This has not just brought in more investments and companies to expand their footprint into Asia’s economic powerhouse, it has also created more new and sophisticated jobs for our local workforce. I’m very excited to extend my experience and knowledge from China to Hong Kong, where we will continue to grow the Randstad brand together.”

Natellie Sun said, “With more companies investing and expanding into mainland China, the demand for experienced professionals and specialist experts has increased significantly. China’s growth presents many opportunities for us to partner with some of the world’s leading companies and start-ups to build their workforce capabilities. With this collaboration, we’ll be able to strengthen our Search and Selection service offerings across borders, setting ourselves up as a one-stop-shop for our Asian clients.”

Both Nikki and Natellie have assumed their new roles from January 1, 2020. Nikki is based in Shanghai and Natellie will continue to be based in Hong Kong SAR.

Apart from Nikki Gao and Natellie Sun’s extended remits, this change has also opened up new opportunities for other key leaders within the business.

Helen Luo, Human Resources Director at Randstad China has extended her remit to lead the HR function for the Greater China region, and will continue to be based in Shanghai. Rena Tan, Head of Marketing and Communications for Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong now also oversees the Greater China region, in addition to her current Southeast Asia remit.
