Business leaders discuss crucial HR issues during the 2010 Human Resources Professionals Conference
AmCham-China invites you to attend the 12th Annual Human Resources Professionals Conference (HR Conference). The theme of this year’s HR Conference is: Delivering Measurable Results: How HR can Create Value.
For foreign companies operating in China, the country has become much more than simply an emerging market with unknown potential. For many companies, it has become a key pillar in their global growth strategies. Not only is China’s domestic market maturing and offering more opportunities, but the country has already become the linchpin of manufacturing and service activities for much of the rest of the world.
However, such high expectations also come with the need to show results. No longer are global business leaders going to be satisfied investing in their China business with the only promise of future returns. The time to deliver demonstrable results is now. This pressure to succeed has enormous implications not only for “front line” business units, but also “strategic partners” such as HR, Finance, IT and others.
AmCham-China’s 12th Annual Human Resource Conference will focus on the key issue: How can HR create value in the context of delivering measurable results? The answer to this question has important implications not only for the success of American businesses in China, but also for the fundamental role of the HR function in China. The event will feature presentations, discussions and lively interaction from both HR and business experts alike.
This year’s Conference is already attracting significant interest. For additional information and to reserve your spot, contact Jon Abramovic at jabramovic@amchamchina.org/(86-10 8519-0856).
